Being present allows us to notice. To notice the subtleties around us and within. Being present allows us to connect with ourself and listen to our own thoughts, feel what’s really going on with us, and be able to listen deeply to our inner knowing.

Being gentle with myself has been a practice. A practice of remembering to soften, to connect with the nurturing aspect of myself. The nurturing aspect that is within all of us. And it is part of the feminine aspect of ourselves and our world.
We can wait for someone else to fill up our cup and grow resentful and frustrated, or we can just fill up our own damn cup. We are our own medicine. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
This is for the women who today may feel they are not enough. Who feel the immense pain of the mother wound. Who wish to be a mother. Who choose not to birth a child. This is for the women who don’t know their birth mothers or who have conflicted, traumatic, tense relationships with their mothers. This is for all the women in this world today.
