This month’s experience will be in honor of our transition into the winter season. Winter is a time of slowing down and rest. As the days become shorter and shorter, with less light in our day, it’s time for us to go inward, take time for ourselves and decompress. As you slow down and allow yourself to unravel the tension and stress in the body and mind, the body can truly active the rest & digest aspect of our nervous system.
In this workshop, you’ll be able to unwind and de-stress through longer held poses lying on the mat with the support of props along with the healing properties of sound healing.
You will be led into a state of deep relaxation with calming breathwork, meditation, and supported poses that will help to nourish your mind and body. Throughout this workshop, you’ll be able to clear your mind to get present, allowing yourself to come into a fully relaxed state of being. By allowing the body to rest, the body begins to heal.
While in this deep state of rest, you’ll get to experience a crystal sound bowl bath, a sound healing experience that will aid in the continuation of relaxation and resetting the nervous system. This restorative practice supports in balancing the nervous system to help alleviate anxiety, fatigue, and chronic stress. This workshop is for all body types and all levels. No experience is needed as the poses are meant to support you wherever you are on your journey. Props will be available at the studio, no need to bring.
